Testimonials

"Hi, my name is Rasha and I'm a mother of one boy, Yusuf, who's now 20 months old. The first time I went to Paradise House was when I had to look for some accessories for my Electric Pump, when I first had my baby. I was helped by Shiela Blankenship and she provided me with all the information regarding breastfeeding and pumping. I also had to see Gaby, the Lactation Consultant, as I had some issues with breasfeeding. I'd been helped and attended to in a very caring manner. It was great to have people guide me through such a critical new experience and provide me with all the support I needed. I then joined the Mom's Club when my son was almost 3 months old. It was a great experience; we all shared/exchanged our worries and challenges as new moms with each other as well as with 'Kim Stock', the facilitator of the group. Yusuf also had fun interacting with other kids his age. Going to the Paradise House and to the Mom's Club meant so much to me and was life changing at a time where I was so frustrated and feeling lonely. I had the most amazing support from amazing women and I made friendships through this journey with moms as well as the staff there that I really appreciate. I'm grateful to all the staff at the Paradise House."
